WATER-BASED INK, INKSET, INK JET RECORDING METHOD, INK CARTRIDGE, RECORDING UNIT, INK JET RECORDING DEVICE AND IMAGING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkset exhibiting a high light resistance in imaging with a combination of more than one water-based ink.;SOLUTION: At least two kinds of water-based inks composed of at least water, a water-insoluble colorant and a water-soluble organic solvent are used in an inkset. Such inkset includes a combination of water-based inks for imaging by over-printing two or more kinds of water-based inks. In these water-based inks a water-based ink having a comparatively higher light resistance contains at least one kind of water-soluble organic solvent which is a poor solvent for the water-insoluble colorants contained in the ink. The other water-based inks contain comparatively larger amounts of water-soluble organic solvents which are good solvents for the water-insoluble colorants contained in the respective water-based inks.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
