PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for weaving a plain-woven base fabric by which the productivity is improved by simplifying a warp-preparing operation, and increasing the operation rate of a loom when weaving the plain-woven base fabric having little fluff, and high quality without a reed mark in good production efficiency while reducing the stopping of a machine caused by the warp yarn.;SOLUTION: The method for weaving the plain-woven base fabric comprising a polyhexamethyleneadipamide fiber comprises regulating the following fiber-occupied index of reeds so as to be 115-250 at weaving, further regulating a weft-insertion rate by using the polyhexamethyleneadipamide fiber having 100-500 dtex fineness so as to be 500-1,700 m/min, and carrying out the weaving by forming empty reed dents alternately: fiber-occupied index=0.106×n×√(D)/(P-T) [wherein, n is the number of yarns drug into one reed dent; D is the fineness (dtex) of the polyhexamethyleneadipamide fiber; P is the pitch (cm) of the reed dents; and T is the thickness (cm) of the reed dent].;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
