PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system for a machine tool for making the machine tool controlled by a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) output various output information by voice through a speaker to a user and outputting commands so that the machine tool performs a corresponding operation when it receives an instruction from the user by voice. PSOLUTION: The PLC 105 outputs a preset voice code to a shared memory 103 in response to output information from the machine tool. A voice reading device 111 extracts the voice data corresponding to the voice code from a voice memory 109, and outputs it to the speaker 115. The voice reading device 111 for receiving the instruction of the user by voice inputted through a microphone 119 extracts the corresponding voice command code, and outputs it to a central processing unit, thereby outputting a corresponding control command to the machine tool.
