PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slave capable of precisely measuring an operating time of output equipment which is maintenance information without affecting a control system.;SOLUTION: An actuator 14 and a sensor 15 detecting completion of operation of the actuator are connected with the Mix slave 13 connected with a field network 12. The Mix slave houses a timer and uses the timer to measure time from when an OUT terminal connected with the actuator is ON till an IN terminal connected with the sensor is ON. The obtained time is the operating time of the output equipment. The operating time and the set value are compared to determine whether the actuator is normal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
