PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for teaching operating mechanism of an internal combustion engine enabling a user to comprehend the operating mechanism of an internal combustion engine in detail and with reality.;SOLUTION: A diagram sheet 6 provided with a timing diagram is used to teach the operating mechanism of an internal combustion engine. The timing diagram comprises a rotation angle display section 15 basing on the top dead center and the bottom dead center as reference, and status display sections 16-20 of circular arc strip type around the center. The status display sections 16-20 indicate the change, in accordance with the rotation angle and by the respective width, of the opening quantity of an intake valve in an intake stroke, the capacity of a combustion chamber in a compression stroke, the pressure in the combustion chamber in a combustion stroke, and the opening quantity of an exhaust valve in an exhaust stroke.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
