PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupon card system that eliminates the necessity of operating online on a large scale by using coupons based on electronic data and to provide a booklet for the coupon card system. PSOLUTION: The coupon card system is utilized by a coupon issuing company 30 that manages coupon points by issuing a booklet 1 on which terms of use and service benefits at coupon affiliate stores 40, 50 are printed. The coupon issuing company 30 creates an electronic recording medium 5 on which coupon information including service benefits, discount points, points available, used points, remaining points, expiration date and the like at the affiliate stores 40, 50 is recorded as electronic data. The electronic recording medium is added to the booklet 1, which is then distributed. Coupon processors 20b, 20c for reading and/or writing to the electronic recording medium 5 at the affiliate stores 40, 50 are provided. The terms of use and expiration date are read with the coupon processors 20b, 20c and checked and the electronic data on the electronic recording medium 5 are updated to store discounted point information.
