PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood rheology measuring apparatus and a blood rheology measuring method for measuring the position relation of the artery in vivo and a sensor under the same condition for each examinee and accurately evaluating the time change of blood rheology by detecting a fingerprint or the vein at the time of noninvasive measurement. PSOLUTION: A vein pattern or a fingerprint pattern peculiar to the examinee is detected, recognized and stored, a sensor position is adjusted so as to match the stored vein pattern or fingerprint pattern and a detected vein pattern or fingerprint pattern every time of measurement, and a blood rheology index value indicating the flowability (thin/thick level) of the blood is measured.
