PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method of producing an X-ray CT image of the pulsing heart of a patient to be executed without taking out electrocardiographic signals of the patient.;SOLUTION: In the method of producing an X-ray cardiac CT image by using a computerized tomographic imaging system, an artificial clock signal generated by a clock generator 8 is used to display a clock, and a test volume data set of the heart is reconstructed at a plurality of different time phase points of the artificial clock in each cycle time phase of the artificial clock signal by means of complete scanning. Each volume data set is correlated to the time phase point and the position z. Next, the maximum value of the correlation is determined by means of the correlation computation between test volume sets which are adjacent to each other in the time phase and the same in the location, or which at least belong to the same cross section.
