PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new variety of a fungus, excellent in eat taste and quality, showing a high yield, easy for culturing, and improved with characteristics such as the shape of its cap, meat quality, culturing period, resistance against pollution, etc., by mating Pleurotus eryngii with Pleurotus nebrodensis or Pleurotus ferulae.;SOLUTION: This mated strain of the Pleurotus eryngii with Pleurotus nebrodensis or Pleurotus ferulae is obtained by culturing the mononuclear spawn or binuclear spawn of the P. nebrodensis or P. ferulae with the mononuclear spawn of the P. eryngii in the same medium at ≤30°C temperature environment, and continuing the culture for ≥15 days after contacting both colonies of the mononuclear spawn or binuclear spawn of the P. nebrodensis or P. ferulae and the mononuclear spawn of the P. eryngii.
