PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pass through an opening part of a door with no difficulty when getting in/out a vehicle by reducing the lateral width of a wheelchair, in the wheelchair for use in a wheelchair lifter equipped in the vehicle.;SOLUTION: Both wheels 5 to be attached to an axle 6 when the wheelchair travels are detachably formed and, when the wheelchair is lifted by a lifter in a cabin, the both wheels 5 are detached and then attached to one side of a frame 7. One of the frames 7 disposed in the both sides of the wheelchair is formed with a wheel attachment part 9 in an upper position of the axle 6 and one of the detached wheels is attached to the attachment part. The wheel attached to the attachment part is formed with a fixing part for retaining the another wheel and the another wheel is attached to the fixing part. The both wheels 5 are thus collectively attached to one side to reduce the width of the wheelchair when being lifted by the lifter.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
