MAINTENANCE AND MANAGEMENT SUPPORT METHOD FOR BREAKWATER COVERED WITH WAVE DISSIPATING BLOCK AND PROGRAM THEREFOR

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To draft a reasonable maintenance/repair plan by predicting a disaster progress situation of a wave dissipating block by damage degree analysis based on Monte Carlo simulation. PSOLUTION: This maintenance and management support method comprises: a first step for previously dividing a wave dissipating block damage degree into one or more damage degree levels according to a disaster state of the wave dissipating block, and calculating a present wave dissipating block damage degree on the basis of a deformation amount investigation result of the wave dissipating block; a second step for predicting a future progress situation of the wave dissipating block damage degree by a probability distribution of a cumulative damage degree to elapsed years, by the damage degree analysis based on the Monte Carlo simulation; and a third step for deciding repair time on the basis of the lapsed years exceeding allowable excess probability arbitrarily set with excess probability of the damage degree level requiring repair in the probability distribution of the cumulative damage degree.
