PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twin spool turbine engine with a simplified mechanism. PSOLUTION: This twin spool turbine engine is provided with a high pressure rotor 2, a low pressure rotor 1, at least one accessory gear box, a driving means, and driving coaxial transmission shafts 11, 12 for transmitting movement to the accessory gear box. The driving means is provided with a high pressure driving pinion 9 fixed to the high pressure rotor 2 in the vicinity of its upstream side end, a low pressure driving pinion 7 fixed to the low pressure rotor 1 on the upstream side of the high pressure rotor 2, and a power taking-out module 29 driving the transmission shafts 11, 12 and meshing with the driving pinions directly. The transmission shafts 11, 12 are mutually and coaxially extended and pass through a single arm. The use of the power taking-out module 29 can simplify the mechanism. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
