PLASTIC REGENERATION METHOD, REGENERATED PRODUCT, RECYCLING METHOD, AND RECYCLED PLASTIC

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic resin regeneration method as a method for recycling a plastic containing a thermosetting resin contained in a large quantity in wastes, by which a compound having a lower viscosity at nearly the same molecular weight than that attained in a conventional method and to provide a regenerated product, a recycling method, and a recycled plastic. PSOLUTION: The plastic resin regeneration method is one for regenerating a resin component by treatment by decomposing and/or solubilizing a plastic containing a thermosetting resin in a solvent essentially consisting of a phenolic compound, wherein the plastic is subjected to the treatment until the weight-average molecular weight of the regenerated resin component increases and decreases to a range which is 5 to 50% of the maximum value. The plastic recycling method comprises recycling the product obtained by the resin regeneration method as a starting material for a plastic.
