PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facility for producing reduced iron, wherein a heat-storage type burner is used in a reducing furnace for producing the reduced iron by heating and reducing an agglomerated material including carboneceous material. PSOLUTION: In the facility for producing the reduced iron produced with the reducing furnace and the heat-storage type burners as the heating apparatus, this reduced iron producing facility, in which the combustion gas of the heat-storage burners in the oxidizing atmosphere and the atmosphere covering the agglomerated material including the carboneceous material in the reducing atmosphere are set, and the heat-storage burners are set at mutually inward in the horizontal direction so that the combustion gas through a gas sucking/exhausting part of the one side of heat-storage type burners can release the heat in the gas sucking/exhausting part of the other side of heat-storage type burners and then, be exhausted therefrom, and the setting position of the heat-storage type burners are the latter half part in the reducing process and at the front part thereof, the gas exhausting part is arranged. Further, this facility is provided with the gas exhausting part at the rear part of a process, in which the surface temperature of the agglomerated material including the carboneceous material is 1250C at the setting position of the heat-storage burners.
