PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant coating method of a steam turbine member, and the steam turbine member coated by the method in which the property of a spray deposit film is firm, the lifetime of the steam turbine member in erosion damages is prolonged, and the turbine performance is improved.;SOLUTION: In the coating method, a carbide-based spray deposit film of the film thickness of 0.4-1.0 mm is deposited on a surface of a turbine member 1 forming a steam passage part of a steam turbine by the high-pressure/high-speed flame thermal spraying, the surface of the spray deposit film 2 is heated by a heat source having the high energy density such as laser and EBW (electron beam welding), the spray deposit film is melted from the outer surface thereof to the depth of about 1/2 of the film thickness, and solidified to form a sealed layer 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
