PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a deep color pixel barrier for manufacturing a color filter having pixels without color mixing, to provide a deep color pixel barrier manufactured by the method, to provide a color filter manufactured by the method, and to provide a display apparatus having the color filter.;SOLUTION: The deep color pixel barrier is formed by exposing and developing a photosensitive resin composition layer containing a colorant in an oxygen poor atmosphere, and the wall has ≥1.0 μm height and satisfies the following conditions (1). (1) Intersections A₁, A₂ of a substrate and the cross section of the deep color pixel barrier are determined, as well as the highest point H of the deep color pixel barrier, an intersection G of the substrate with a vertical line from the point H, a straight line L₀ passing H and parallel to the substrate surface, a point P internally dividing between H and G into a proportion of HP:PG=1:3, a straight line L₂ passing P and parallel to the substrate, and intersections B₁, B₂ of L₂ with the cross section of the deep color pixel barrier; wherein the distance (a) between A₁ and A₂ and the distance b between B₁, B₂ satisfy b/a≥0.8.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
