PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modulation method and transmitting/receiving apparatus, employing a wideband chaos signal, which can be applied to a wideband communications system, reduce power consumption and manufacturing cost, and is immune to multi-path and capable of performing multi-accessing.;SOLUTION: The transmitting apparatus includes a chaos signal generating unit for generating a wideband chaos signal; a delay unit for delaying out the wideband chaos signal; a multiplier unit for multiplying the delayed wideband chaos signal by an inputted information signal to output a multiplied signal; and a selective output means for transmitting the wideband chaos signal and the multiplied signal, in this order.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
