CONSTRUCTION OF SMALL-SCALE PIT USING SIMPLE LINING EARTH RETAINING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost by continuously performing extraction and jacking, due to increasing cost since a construction quantity per one day is limited by receiving influence on a work kind quick in a construction speed by a slow work kind, when continuously performing work different in the construction speed such as civil engineering work, towing, jacking, the connection of a water supply pipe and backfilling in a day, when laying a supply pipe.;SOLUTION: When continuously performing the extraction and the jacking of the supply pipe, a pit is required to be put in an already excavated state. Thus, the pit is constructed in advance by using a simple lining earth retaining material realized from a combination of a lining material and an earth retaining material capable of preventing deformation and collapse by covering the excavation surface peripheral edge ground with a steel plate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
