INSTALLATION METHOD FOR WATER DRAIN PIPE IN TOE OF SLOPE ON BACK OF LEVEE BODY, WATER DRAINING METHOD FOR SEEPAGE WATER ON BACK OF LEVEE BODY, AND WATER DRAIN STRUCTURE FOR SEEPAGE WATER
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water draining method and a water drain structure for seepage water in a toe of a slope on the back of a levee body, and to provide an installation method for a water drain pipe for constructing the water drain structure efficiently in a short time.;SOLUTION: In this water drain structure 1 in the toe of the slope on the back of the levee body, the water drain pipe 6 made of a water permeable material is provided in a lateral hole 5 formed along the longitudinal direction of the levee body 2 in the toe 4 of the slope on the rear face of slope 3 of the levee body 2. This water drain pipe 6 is composed of a tubular fiber system water collection and drainage member 7 having water permeability and a pipe 8 having a hole formed at the outer side of the fiber system water collection and drainage member 7 and formed with a water passing hole 9 in a peripheral part. For example, a steel pipe 8 having a slit-like water passing hole 9 in a pipe wall is used as the pipe 8 having the hole. The fiber system water collection and drainage member 7 has a three-dimensional net-like filter structure, has a high water collection and drainage property, is less in the reduction of a water collection and drainage function caused by clogging, and has a deformation following property even if a compressed load acts because confounding parts of fibers are heat-bonded by utilizing a difference in melting points of different raw materials to cope with the deformation of the ground.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
