UNDERGROUND SPACE FLOOD/EVACUATION SIMULATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish an underground space flood/evacuation simulation system for establishing a plan for water resistance reinforced facility in an underground space or establishing an evacuation guidance system when the underground space is flooded.;SOLUTION: In an underground space flood simulation system 1, depth and flow speed of flood water in each section of a ground surface expressed in blocks, an underground mall, and a subway is calculated every minute and, at the same time, depth and flow speed of flood water at a stairway section are calculated and whether important facilities are flooded or not is judged. In an underground space evacuation simulation system 2, based on the result, calculation with regard to evacuation is carried out while reduction of waking speed caused by the depth and flow speed of flood water and traffic restriction due to an exit or passageway width are considered to judge the possibility of evacuation of each block. When it is judged that evacuation is possible, the time required for evacuation is calculated. In addition, in an underground space flood/evacuation simulation display system, these calculation results are displayed in a manner easy to comprehend.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
