PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a float type disc brake provided with a fist frame type caliper having a structure capable of reinforcing a torque receiving part of mounting.;SOLUTION: This float type disc brake 1 provided with the fist frame type caliper has a main body part 3 attached to a vehicle body side, a fist part 6 in which the caliper 5 is slidably attached to the mounting 2 having a pair of torque receiving parts 4 crossing a rotor R in the axial direction of the rotor from the main body part 3 in the axial direction of the rotor and the caliper 5 crosses the rotor R in the axial direction of the rotor between the pair of torque receiving parts 4, a pair of frame arms 7a crossing the rotor R in the axial direction of the rotor on an outer side in the peripheral direction of the rotor more than each torque receiving part 4, and frame bridges 7b, 7c on an inner side and an outer side for connecting the pair of frame arms 7a with the fist part 6 on an inner side and an outer side, respectively.
