PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for transferring data within a multi-processing system.;SOLUTION: This method and apparatus assigns an identifier to a DMA command, the identifier for association with the entry of a DMA table containing status information regarding the DMA command, receives an indication that DMA data transfer defined by the DMA command has been completed, and updates the status information of the entry of the DMA table associated with the DMA data transfer in order to indicate that the DMA data transfer has been completed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
