PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a condition input and to reduce an error, by extracting an analytical condition from a natural sentence such as mail, and by setting automatically the analytical condition, in an electron probe X-ray analyzer such as an EMPA.;SOLUTION: Words characteristic to an analytical method, an element and characteristic X-ray species, and other analytical condition are extracted from the mail or a general test file by a character sequence retrieving method for normal expression or the like, to be set as the analytical condition.
