PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave source search method and a wave source search system capable of freely changing the watching area and also capable of specify a plurality of signal transmission source.;SOLUTION: The wave source search method for wave signal utilizing the movement of moving body mounted with an array antenna is composed of steps as follows: the position acquisition step for acquiring the positional information regarding the position of the moving body; the direction estimating step for estimating respective arriving direction regarding at least one wave signal arrived at the array antennas; the vector formation step for respectively forming directional vectors corresponding to arriving direction represented at least one estimation resu the repeated control step for making repeat the position acquisition step, the direction estimation step and the vector formation step for a plurality of times; and the wave source detection step for detecting the intersection point of directional vectors formed by the vector forming step and detecting the position of wave source of the wave signal arrived at the array antenna from the position of the intersection point.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
