PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a Pb-Sn-Ca-Al-based lead alloy sheet for a storage battery whose maximum strength is higher. PSOLUTION: A Pb-Sn-Ca-Al-based lead alloy having a composition comprising 1.0 to 1.8% Sn, 0.05 to 0.07% Ca and 0.002 to 0.01% Al, and the balance Pb with inevitable impurities is dissolved and cast to produce a slab. The obtained slab is subjected to primary rolling to produce a lead alloy rolled sheet. The lead alloy rolled sheet is subjected to low temperature aging treatment so as to be held at 10C for 30 to 80 hr and is thereafter subjected to secondary rolling. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
