PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for examining a drug sensitivity capable of shortening the examination time to an extremely short time, an apparatus for examining the drug sensitivity, a program for examining the drug sensitivity and a computer-readable recording medium recording the program for examining the drug sensitivity.;SOLUTION: This method for examining the drug sensitivity is provided by dividing a test medium 1 surrounding a filter paper 2 into a multiple number of test areas 3a to 3f having stepwise different distances from the filter paper 2. The area of a colonies 4 caused by bacterial liquid in the test area 3a to 3f are measured every prescribed culturing time. The areas of the colonies 4 are compared with those of the colonies 14 caused by the bacterial liquid in a control medium 11 cultured under the same conditions with the test areas 3a to 3f. When a difference in areas of colonies in each of the test areas 3e and control area 13e is in a prescribed range, and also a difference in areas of colonies in the test area 3d adjacent to the test area 3e on the filter paper 2 side and in the control area 13d is out of a prescribed range, then an inhibiting belt is determined with the boundary of the two test areas 3d, 3e as the boundary 5 of a inhibiting belt.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
