SLOPE COLLAPSE MONITORING/PREDICTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire effective data for more exactly predicting slope collapse at any time, to disclose it and to predict the slope collapse based on the data to distribute warning.;SOLUTION: An extensometer 21, a clinometer 22, a rain gauge 23 and an underground water level indicator 24 are arranged on a slope to be measured, pieces of measurement data from a group 2 of these measuring instruments are collected by a data collection facility 3 and the pieces of measurement data are transmitted to a central monitoring facility 4 at any time via the Internet N. Then, a safety factor Fs of the slope collapse in groundwater analysis and slope stability analysis by a finite element method is analyzed based on the measurement data and warning information is distributed based on the safety factor Fs to a preliminarily registered client U1 as an e-mail.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
