PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relate to neurobiology and transgenic animal. PSOLUTION: For example, this invention relates to transgenic mouse FO66 and a cell line that can express the human sca2 gene under the control of its self-promoter. The F066 transgenic mouse can produce the SCA gene disease. Accordingly, this transgenic cell line is useful for elucidating the mechanism of the disease production and provide a new therapeutic method that can minimize the clinical symptoms of patients with the disease.
