PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a check on parking area entry time or the application of a parking fee discount service, with regard to a vehicle having ETC function.;SOLUTION: A parking area management system S comprises a management apparatus 10 having a roadside apparatus 24, a management server 12 and an adjustment apparatus 50; a vehicle 22 having an on-vehicle terminal 23; and a cellular telephone 30 carried by a user. The adjustment apparatus 50 uses ETC-ID data (ID data), received from the cellular telephone 30 as an identification key, to read out ETC-ID data received from the on-vehicle terminal 23 and entry time data about the vehicle 22, both recorded in the management server 12, and sends them to the cellular telephone 30. The entry time is displayed on the display part of the cellular telephone 30, so that the entry time, displayed on the display part of the cellular telephone 30, can be checked without the issuance of a parking ticket at the passage of the vehicle 22 mounted with the on-vehicle terminal 23 by the roadside apparatus 24.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
