PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time for the matching work, and improve the ease of this work and the reliability in a radio telemetry system. PSOLUTION: The master unit has a means for setting external inputs, including setting the ID and a means for storing required data for matching. The slave unit has a change-over means for changing into the intermittent reception at power setting on and a means for comparing and deciding the content of radio communication messages with stored data. The matching, i.e. the information exchange work of ID, etc. is executed for permitting a mutual radio communication between the master unit and slave unit, if the information of a part of the ID of a matching target slave unit sent from the master unit matches a part of the ID of the matching target slave for the master unit and currently matches, while changing into the radio intermittent receiving state for only a specified time after the slave unit is switched on.
