PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-pressure casting method and a low-pressure casting furnace for performing the low-pressure casting method with which even in the case of no according the molten-metal surface in a holding chamber with a fixed molten-metal surface position caused by reducing of the molten metal in the holding chamber by casting, the surface of the molten metal in a molten-metal discharging chamber can be made to the fixed molten-metal surface position without needing the connection of a melting furnace with the holding chamber.;SOLUTION: The low-pressure casting furnace 1 is provided with the holding chamber 20, a pressurizing chamber 30, the molten-metal discharging chamber 40 and a communicating passage 50, and the communicating passage 50 is mutually communicated with the holding chamber 20, the pressurizing chamber 30 and the molten-metal discharging chamber 40. In the pressurizing chamber 30, a pressurizing device 31 is arranged, and in the holding chamber 20, a stopper 21 is arranged. Before filling up the molten metal 2 into a cavity 3a, the holding chamber 20 and the communicating passage 50 are shut off with the stopper 21 and the inner part of the pressurizing chamber 30 is made to close-state, and the molten-metal surface position in the molten-metal discharging chamber 40 is made to the fixed molten-metal surface position B by pressurizing the molten metal 2 in the pressurizing chamber 30 with a pressurizing device 31.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
