PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broad light-shielding member which prevents distortion of a pile implanted portion even when tension is applied in cutting to a small width.;SOLUTION: The broad light-shielding member for a photographic sensitive material has a base fabric of a woven structure, pile implanted in the base fabric and selvages at both ends, wherein the base fabric and the selvages have the same woven structure having warp and woof comprising filament yarn, and the elastic modulus of the warp constituting the selvages is 50-100% of that of the warp constituting the base fabric.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
