PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently prepare metadata for integration used in making data distributed to a plurality of databases referrable as one integrated data base virtually. PSOLUTION: The metadata editor 100 is constituted so that an editing processing part 140 edits the information of the metadata for the integration corresponding to drag and drop operations performed by using a DB information panel screen 11 and an editing panel screen 12 by a person preparing the metadata for the integration, a correlation part 150 displays correlation combination candidates when the correlation of columns with each other becomes possible, a correlation check part 160 statistically determines and displays the propriety of the correlation when the person preparing the metadata for the integration specifies a correlation combination, and a consistency check part 170 displays that correction is required for a column element requiring the correction when the metadata for the integration are not consistent with the database.
