PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a ceramic product using a glaze capable of forming an iris part having a new iris pattern showing a polygonal shape on the surface.;SOLUTION: The method 1 for producing the ceramic product includes a glaze preparing step S1 for preparing the glaze by adding an additive containing a tungsten compound to a base glaze, a glaze applying step S2 for applying prepared glaze slurry on the surface of a test piece before being sintered, a firing step S5 for arranging an unfired body to which the glaze has been applied in a firing furnace and firing the body at a firing temperature of 1,200-1,300°C under the atmosphere containing oxygen, and a crystal growth step S7 for performing crystal growth of the iris part showing a polygonal shape on the surface of the test piece by arranging the fired test piece in an electric firing furnace kept at a crystal growth temperature of 1,000-1,100°C.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
