PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclamen plant transformant which contains a chitinase gene transduced thereinto to reinforce resistance to mycosis. PSOLUTION: This cyclamen plant transformant obtained by transducing recombinant DNA containing a chitinase gene-encoding gene into the stalks or laminas of cyclamen, selecting cells containing the recombinant DNA transduced thereinto, and then regenerating the selected cells.
