PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade coating method realizing stable coating of a coating liquid by preventing generation of scattered drop of the coating liquid when an optical disc is left from a mask plate by a simple apparatus constitution, a disc coating method using this and a blade coater, and to realize coating of a coating liquid having a good surface property.;SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with the mask plate 25 having an opening 27; a coating liquid feeding part 41 for feeding the coating liquid 49 onto the mask plate 25 superposed on a flat surface substrate (optical disc) D; a blade 51 relatively moved relative to the mask plate 25 above the mask plate 25; and a mask peeling off means (air cylinder) 23 for leaving the mask plate 25 and the flat surface substrate D after the mask plate 25 is coated with the coating liquid 49. When the mask plate 25 and the flat surface substrate D are left by the mask peeling off means 23, a liquid film breakage means for breaking the liquid film 49A generated between an opening edge 25a of the mask plate 25 and the flat surface substrate D is provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
