PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FE (field emission) light source for growing the plant, capable of being positioned near a grown plant, because of generating heat extremely slightly, to provide a plant factory of complete artificial light type or solar light jointly using type, capable of growing the plant, by applying the FE light source thereto, and to provide a greenhouse for growing the plant.;SOLUTION: This FE light source for growing the plant radiates mixed light of which the radiant light comprises mixed light of red light having a wave length of 640-690 nm and blue light having a wave length of 420-470 nm, or irradiates visible light having a wave length of 380-700 nm, wherein the EF light source is equipped with an anode of which the inner surface is coated with a fluorescent substance and which comprises a transparent electrode, an electron-emitting cathode which is positioned by facing the anode, and a light-transmitting cover material with which the anode and the electron-emitting cathode are enclosed and of which the inside is sealed and made to be a vacuum state.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
