FIRE PREVENTION EAVES CEILING PANEL WITH SELF-SEALING FUNCTION AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically seal a ventilation hole of an eave soffit panel by sensing heat when attacked by heat or flame having high temperature.;SOLUTION: A plastic composite body is molded as a composite body containing scale piece-like graphite having diameter of particle of graphite having heat expansion property of 80 mesh over of 50% or more, preferably, 70% or more and having amount of filling of 20 to 70 pts.wt., preferably, 30 to 60 pts.wt. for plastic fine particles or pellets of 100 pts.wt. so as to swell largely in the direction of center. The plastic composite body is fitted into the ventilation hole opened in the eave soffit panel, catches heated air having high temperature before flame invades through the ventilation hole, and is swelled to block the ventilation hole.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
