PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture mounting base which can be installed easily and stably to a decking and also a deck lighting fixture installing method efficiently within a short period of time.;SOLUTION: A mounting base formed to a reversed hat shape in a luminous body housing portion is opened upward for fitting to a hole made through the decking members and has an integrated flange extended outwardly for installing to the top surface of the decking members. In the lighting fixture installing method, a hole is made through the deck member, a housing portion of the mounting base is fitted to the hole, a flange of the mounting base is fixed to the top surface of the decking members and then the members are laid for the decking.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
