DETAIL-OF-CONTENT RECOGNITION SYSTEM AND STORAGE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device and a detail-of-content recognition system which can recognize the contents of content to be stored without starting up a power source.;SOLUTION: A list of content data which an HDD 13 stores is stored in a transponder 12 while a power source for a storage device 10 is operating. When the power source for the storage device 10 is interrupted, an RFID reader 20 is brought close to the storage device 10 to activate the transponder 12, and electric power is supplied, and then data communication is carried out with the RFID reader 20.
