PETAL PIGMENT OF COMMELINA COMMUNIS L., ITS EXTRACTION METHOD AND MULTIFUNCTIONAL PRINTED SEAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract a practically usable natural pigment from petals of Commmelina communis L. and to provide a multifunctional printed seal using the pigment.;SOLUTION: The pigment is made by mixing the pigment of the petals extracted by impregnating the petals in a saline water. The extraction method comprises extracting the pigment by impregnating the petals picked from the grass of Commmelina communis L. in the saline water and fixing the pigment, together with the saline water containing the pigment extracted is subjected to an aeration treatment then the saline water containing the pigment extracted is kept at a low temperature and further before used as a colors, the pigment is refreshed to be distinct by giving a vibration treatment or an aeration treatment. The seal is made by giving a print on the surface by using a printing ink to which the pigment extracted from the petals of Commmelina communis L. as colors is added and the printed pattern has a blue complete circle in which a red colored star shaped octagon is included in the complete circle, and a border part 7 with a definite width is formed on the outer peripheral part of the star shaped octagon and the border part 7 is nearly inscribed with the complete circle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
