APATITE COMPOSITE MATERIAL COATED WITH APATITE HAVING CRYSTAL ORIENTATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological implantation such as an artificial joint or an artificial dental root and a cell culturing carrier which effectively utilize the difference of the properties of the crystal surface of hydroxyapatite or the anisotropy of physical property to crystal orientation.;SOLUTION: The subject apatite composite material has high crystal orientation as shown by enamel of tooth of human body and hardly contains calcium oxide said to cause inflammation in vivo at least in the vicinity of the surface of a coating film. The biological implantation, a cell culture carrier and a biological component analysis/diagnosing member having an action peculiarly adsorbing and separating the biological component by the difference of the affinity to the biological component which comprise the apatite composite material are provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
