PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological implantation such as an artificial joint or an artificial dental root and a cell culturing carrier which effectively utilize the difference of the properties of the crystal surface of hydroxyapatite or the anisotropy of physical property to crystal orientation.;SOLUTION: The subject apatite composite material has high crystal orientation as shown by enamel of tooth of human body and hardly contains calcium oxide said to cause inflammation in vivo at least in the vicinity of the surface of a coating film.
