PSOLUTION: The temperature increasing device for an on-vehicle type hydrogen production system has a heater 3 started by the driving of engine power of a vehicle. The on-vehicle type hydrogen production system has the hydrogen separation type reformer 1, which has a reaction parts 11, 12. The reaction parts 11, 12 are constituted of reaction tubes filled with reforming catalysts, and provided with a hydrogen transmission part 14 partitioned by a hydrogen separation membrane and a combustion gas passage 15 heating the reaction pipes. The hydrogen separation type reformer 1 has a combustion part 13 generating combustion gas for heating the reaction pipe parts 11, 12, and the reaction pipes are preheated with a means utilizing the heat from the heater 3.
