PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of intertwining, contacting and instability in supplying of tension of wires, such as core wires, tension members and support wires inside a core metal holder and inside a core metal.;SOLUTION: An optical cable manufacturing jig 1 is provided with a core metal 2, which has passing holes 22 to 24 for various wires 28, such as a coated optical fiber and the tension members and a cylindrical core metal holder 3 which fixes the core metal to a tip side. The jig 1 is provided with a plurality of guide dies 5, which are arranged in parallel within inner side space 19 and 20 of the core metal 2 and the core metal holder 3 and have guide holes 9 to 11 for the various wires, fixing bars 6 which mutually connect the plurality of the guide dies and a fixing member 8 which fixes the guide die 5 and the core metal holder at the back end side of the core metal holder 3. The outer surfaces of the guide dies 5 are made to contact the inner surface of the core metal 2 for the positioning. A ring shaped die holder 7 is engaged between the fixing member 8 and the back end tip guide die 5. Tapered surfaces 15 and 18 of the fixing member 8 and the core metal holder 3 are mutually engaged.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
