PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notification system for an act amendment and a notification method for the act amendment by which the fact and content of an act amendment can be immediately and automatically notified to a client. PSOLUTION: An act amendment notification server 10 is provided with: a before-and-after amendment table creating part 12 acquiring article data indicating the article before and after amendment regarding this act from an official gazette database 22 and creating a before-and-after amendment table which summarizes the article before and after amendment to be easily comprehended and storing before-and-after amendment table data indicating the before-and-after amendment table in a before-and-after amendment table database 21; and an act amendment notification part 15 transmitting the acquired before-and-after amendment data to a client terminal apparatus 40 indicated by acquired client information data after acquiring the client information data for the clients to whom the before-and-after amendment table is to be transmitted by searching a client information database 20 based on a utilizing field related to the amended act and acquiring the before-and-after amendment table data of the amended act from the before-and-after amendment table database.
