PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a client makes the transmission request of AV data regardless of the state of a server, and a server transmits the impossibility of the transmission of the AV data as an error response when the AV data are not transmittable, however the client side cannot grasp a point of time when the AV data are transmittable by the server in AV equipment for performing streaming.;SOLUTION: When a content reproduction request is made from a client 2, a communication enabling time determination means 13 in a server determines a time by which communication is made possible according to the state of its own equipment of an equipment state managing means 12 when it is determined that communication is not made possible by an equipment state determination means 11.
