PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article excellent in absorbing performance of body fluid having an absorber specifically having softness and relatively high strength (stiffness).;SOLUTION: The method for producing the absorbent article having an absorbing element receiving and holding the body fluid permeating through a top sheet in the using face side comprises an opening fiber step for opening fibers of a tow 52Y to an aggregate 52Z of filaments, a step 90 for sprinkling a highly absorbent polymer particle onto the aggregate 52Z of the filaments, a step for continuously wrapping the continuous body of the absorber having the aggregate of the filaments and the highly absorbent polymer particle with wrapping sheet 58, a step 94 for individually cutting the continuous body of the absorber and the wrapping sheet to obtain individual absorbent elements, a step for combining the individual absorbent elements with other raw materials while intermittently sending it, a step for cutting the absorbent elements 20 combined with the other raw materials to obtain individual absorbers, and a step for producing products by combining the individual absorbers with exterior raw materials 12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
