PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a high performance computer is required for implementing a search engine system.;SOLUTION: The search engine comprises an indexing device 200, which includes an indexing part 20 for generating index information to include a index data and a position data where the index is generated, and an index transmitting part 22 to transmit the index data generated by the indexing part 20; and a retrieval device 100, which includes an index database 11 storing the index data received from the indexing device 200, and a retrieval unit 10 to extract the index data including an index matching to an input keyword from the index database 11 and output the index data when the keyword is input.
