PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous reproduction technique capable of comparing and reproducing during comparing and at a comparing point while synchronously reproducing a plurality of video images without requiring the huge number of video image editing.;SOLUTION: Of video images to be synchronously reproduced, the video image having the longest video image time is specified. A video dividing position to be a dividing position of the video image is decided while using a video image to be synchronously reproduced other than the specified video image. Subsequently, a stopping time is decided for each video image dividing position on the basis of the video image time of the specified video image and the video image time of the video image to be processed so that the video image time of the specified video image may be a reproduction time. Then, the specified video image is continuously reproduced, and the video images other than the specified video image are reproduced by repeating operations in which reproduction is started simultaneously with the start of reproduction of the specified video image, reproduction is performed until the next video image dividing position, after that, the video image in stopping is continuously outputted during the stopping, and the reproduction is resumed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
