PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static pressure guiding device which facilitates pressure adjustment thereof, and to provide a machining center which facilitates installation thereof.;SOLUTION: The static pressure guiding device (21) is formed of rails (22, 23), a mobile body (24) sliding along the rails (22, 23), pressure fluid feeding lines (25) for feeding pressure fluid to a plurality of static pressure pockets (24H, 24I, 24J) formed in the mobile body (24), and a plurality of restriction portions (31, 32, 33) for adjusting the pressure of the fed pressure fluid. At least one of the restriction portions (31, 32, 33) is formed of a combined restriction portion consisting of a fixed restriction and a variable restriction serially connected to each other, with the variable restriction being arranged on one side of the fixed restriction toward the static pressure pockets (24H, 24I, 24J).
